Hey! Like I said, my name is Cheyenne and I will be posting on here about my experiences with the outdoors. A few things about me: I am from a small town in Southeast Ohio. I enjoy volunteering, finding cool places to walk, and I am a huge animal lover! In middle school I spent a lot of time on a farm, and I regard it as the best experience of my life.
I am now a junior in college, so I have a little less time to go out exploring trails and finding cool things, but it is something that I find relaxing to do; and everyone needs something to de-stress! I have two nieces and a goddaughter who will most likely make an appearance in my posts since I can’t go an hour without thinking of them. You might also hear me mention Pokémon Go since I try to go out and play everyday, which means I run into some critters or interesting trails every now and then.
As a kid, I was always outside! Playing in the mud, making tire swings, climbing trees, fishing…you name it! I could spend hours in the woods hunting mushrooms, walking around (getting lost a few times, if I’m being honest), trying to make forts and hideouts. I thought it was a blast! As I got older, I moved onto different outdoor activities like canoeing, camping, and bonfires with friends, and several types of off road vehicles.
Some random facts about me: My favorite color is blue and my favorite types of music include old country, classic rock, and 90s alternative. I like reading fantasy, science fiction, and action books. A few of my favorite movies are The Expendables, Forrest Gump, and any MCU movie. Some t.v. shows I enjoy are Seinfeld, Bob’s Burgers, Criminal Minds, iZombie, The Wire and The West Wing. My hobbies include watching Netflix/ Hulu, learning to play guitar, and crocheting. I mentioned my nieces, but what I didn’t tell you was that I come from a family of 8 kids (including a twin sister). A lot, I know, but there is never a dull moment with them. I also have a best friend back home who loves photographing nature, so I’m sure I’ll post a few of her pictures on here to share with you at some point.
I have included a few pictures to help you get to know me. The first picture is from the time I helped out at the local animal shelter and the second picture is from the time I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. I’m the one up front with the short sleeve grey shirt on.

I have never been the kind of person who posts on social media, so this is all very new to me. I’m excited to try something new and hopefully you guys will enjoy the content! My goal is to post fun recipes, activities, and stories that involve the outdoors that anyone can have fun with!
